Pure Joy!

Today, Jack and I went to a birthday party for twin sisters in his class. They are the sweetest girls and just happen to be the same girls that I did the family photos for last weekend!

The party was at a trampoline gym, with about 10 trampolines that the kids could jump around on! At first, Jack was a bit nervous, because the coach was pretty strict with the rules and I think it scared him a bit (he tends to be really nervous in new situations). But after a few minutes, Jack was happily jumping around bouncing higher and higher as the time went on.

One of the things the kids could do was bounce on this particular trampoline and when they get high enough, they had to jump backwards and land on a huge thick mat that was suspended with ropes. Jack didn't want to do it at first, but finally made an attempt at it towards the end of the night. He did a great job, and once he realized it wouldn't hurt, he did it over and over again.

Although it may be hard to see, Jack has a look of pure joy here....(of course, his eyes are closed because he's a bit nervous!). Not a great photo, but it shows the happiness of the day!

After this party, we headed over to my inlaws for another birthday party for my sister-in-law and for ME! (my birthday is this Friday! Yes, 29 years old.....AGAIN!)
