Gotcha this time! Blue tongue lizard hiding...

There had been one of these in Judes Garden, but we had to rescue it from Milo the big puppy who wanted to play with it., and I never got a picture.
However today, our last full day here we all had breakfast together at a cafe by Shelley Beach, and then went on to walk along a bush track overlooking the sea. Hubby suddenly noticed this lizard lurking by the path under a rock. I too four photos slowly trying to get closer, and then he decided to head for the dark cranny under the rock...I picked this one as it's the only one where you can see his eye.
Apparently he uses his blue tongue as a frightener to other creatures...
