Remembrance Sunday

A shot of the cenotaph in the town centre and the parish church behind where a remembrance ceremony will take place later this morning. The weather is a total contrast to yesterday's sunshine; damp, dismal and foggy.

Soldiers from the nearby Army Foundation College were out early preparing the route and putting up barriers. I also noticed that all the litter bins in the vicinity were sealed up, a sad reflection of of our time.
