Late colours

In the Place des Peintres (Painters' Square) in my neighbourhood there are some wonderful reddy-brown-golden leaves left on the trees. Most of the rest of the trees have now shed their leaves but these ones make me happy each morning as I cycle to work and I keep wondering when they will be bare.
