The trip begins

I don't why but we got cajoled into taking our nephew across to Amsterdam this weekend on the DFDS ferry. We were accompanied by 3 sons, another nephew who came all the way up fropm Southampton for the trip! a neice, her boyfriend and another one of her friends. 10 in all. We are on a party boat and me and Mrs U are probably at least twice the age of most everybody on board. This shot is of the North Shields Fish Quay towards the mouth of the Tyne. Hope we survive it!
