What a Bunch of NOBBBS!

Spent this evening with a bunch of NOBBBS and had a great time! My Dad was a NOBBB, five members of my band were NOBBBS, a lot of my friends and some of my Dad's oldest friends were NOBBBS.

Some explaination needed here.

NOBBBS stands for 'National Old Boys Brass Band of Scotland', they are a scratch band which is comprised of some of the best players in Scotland who must be over 40 and male. They get together every year to do a concert raising money for Prostate Cancer Scotland. Great cause, great guys, great music.

Almost worth the 4 hour round trip, £7.20 for the train, £9.20 for a taxi, £7 for a ticket, £2 for 2 raffle tickets and £1 for a programme.

I may not have a prostate or be over 40 or be able to grow a moustache (in support of Movember) but you can't say I didn't do my bit for Prostate Cancer Awareness month!
