Back in black and white

Awrite all youse! I've been shooting film for the last week or so. There's the reason for not blipping last week. Fear not, though, I do have a shot for each day.

Just exposed a roll of TMax 400 for the 36th time yesterday. Tomorrow I'm heading to the lab to get my shots from last week developed. Then I'll start back blipping last week's entries. There are certain very intriguing aspects in shooting film that digital media lacks. One being the absence of instant feedback and the excitement of waiting for to get one's hands on the final results. I did pay a terrible price for not blipping daily last week: I lost a subscriber! That really hurt?heh.

I'm actually in the middle of quite intense internal discourse whether to go for a new film or digital rangefinder. Digital photography is awesome, too, but I hate the idea of having thousands of good exposures to tweak and edit when I could end up with just a couple of precious shots to cherish. One very likely outcome to my inner debate is that I decide to continue shooting both film and digital for the days to come. Can't afford two new Leicas, though!
