Nature's diamonds.
It's been a damp, grey day today. Everything was shrouded in mist.
After lunch I went out for a walk, just as far as the Angel of the North, and back. No matter what the weather, there are groups of people looking at the Angel, and today was no exception, with about a dozen cars in the carpark.
On my way back I spotted this fir tree, and all the way up to the top, spiders had been weaving their webs, and the weather had added drops to make it look as if it were scattered with diamonds. It was worth the walk to see it.
