Another day...another beach...another anniversary!

So it was a nice sunny day today - surprisingly warm too - so we decided to sod the bloody housework leave things in the house and head out and about again - we had to go out for some shopping anyway, so why not take the bikes and go via the beach?! :-)

OK. Not VIA the beach exactly........

Anyway the beach turned out to be a bit mud-flatty-quick-sandy-tyre-sinky, to cycle on it much, so we ended up on the Millennium Coastal path. I am not sure how far we went but I am hoping I have burnt off a few of yesterday's calories at least!

It is another anniversary today as it happens. 22 years ago today I first started the job doing...... what I am still doing....which is far too boring to mention....especially after 22 years! ;-) I have just realised that's half my life! Yikes!! :-/

Anyway I must go and catch up with all the things I have neglected this weekend - I have two trips to prepare for this week - one rather boring work meeting and one far nicer trip....my first ever blip meet :-D which means another 'day off' my diet....well you have to indulge yourself in a bit of naughtiness now and again don't you!? ;-D
