Wash Day

We're back in Cairo and it's the last day of our visit to India and Egypt. We've seen some incredible sights but what has impressed me most is the wonderful and happy people we've met and seen. As I watched this lady and her daughter working together to do the wash in a field by their home in Cairo, I was struck by the similarities yet huge differences in our lives. In the end it isn't the things we have that make us happy and that stood out to me on this trip.
