A missed sunset

The weekend has whizzed by, and I didn't make it out for a constitutional walk until I had well and truly missed a fiery sunset. Besides incompetence and bad time management, I blame having to hang up a washing and do the shopping.

So we just walked to the harbour and took some shots of the darkening sky, got a bit cold, then came home.

That said, I had a great swim this morning while Shortie was in her swimming lesson.

This is all the more surprising, given that last night I was actually out at a party to mark my friends' recent wedding. I only had a couple of Crabbies ginger beers, but I am now a confirmed lightweight in the alcohol ring. Combined with a later than usual night, I felt a little tender this morning....
