Softball in the Park

Had a great time at Marble Hill Park playing softball. We all get madly competitive, I'm sure it's unhealthy! But there's nothing like the feeling of hitting a ball exactly the way you planned and seeing sail into the sky. (Even if it means your eight year old son doesn't have a hope of catching it and getting you out).

I took lots of photos but I chose this one as I love the looks of determination on Al's face and anticipation on Betsy's.

It was as warm as early summer, and the park was full of people on bikes, scooters, roller-skates, skateboards, playing football, rugby, running, walking, taking photos, walking dogs and pushing buggies and prams, it was really lovely.
