Such an Honour

Today I spent the day with the samba band, we were invited by the British Legion in Lymington, for the 2nd year running to lead the parade through the town to the church for the remeberance service and then to the cenetaph for the laying of the wreaths.
I didn't attend last year but I was a little concerned how our samba band was going to lead such an important parade, But it was just amazing the groove we played was just so right.
On the way over from the Isle of Wight we played our normal samba grooves to entertain the people on the ferry that was fun!
After the parade we were invited back to the British Legion club for drinks and lunch, we then marched back through Lymington town down to the waterfront where we had a 20min static gig.
What an emotional day!
We have been asked back again next year :-)
