Katie and Gordon pulling on one of those finger trap things that we got in Edinburgh today. The unusually cheery graffiti was very welcome. Constructive vandalism.
We went to Edinburgh in the usual rush to see Arthur Christmas which has the so-far guaranteed to please Aardman name on it - and it didn't disappoint. I wasn't a recognisable Aardman visual style, but the trailer for "The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists" certainly is. Coming out next year, let's go!
We had a lovely day starting with a visit to The City Art Centre to look at really lovely tapestries - not really my thing I would have thought but this exhibition is great. The children loved the textures and I loved the landscapes. Really effective, you should go.
When we left the cinema the light was lovely and we rushed up Calton Hill at an ... ever ... slowing ... pace .... to enjoy the late afternoon. We clambered all over and had a lovely time. I took a few pictures for some tourists, who were a bit taken aback by my strange angles, hopefully they'll like the results. Remember you'll never meet these people again. Heh heh heh.
