Too many cars!

I had to do a bit of work in Cornwall recently. I had an hour to spare so decided to nip to St Ives to take some pics. But I couldn't find anywhere to park for half an hour without paying £4+ so I drove out again. Nothing wrong with St Ives - it just wasn't designed for a mass onslaught of car-driving tourists.
Something is not quite right.
This is in Swansea - same problem there.
