Glowing Cottonwoods
The whole day was dreary until just before sunset. The sun broke through low clouds in the west and made the cottonwoods along the Rio Grande glow a strange golden light. I ran out just in time to capture some of that light. Five minutes later it was gone and I was back in the kitchen cooking cabbage from my garden to accompany lamb ribs from a New Mexico ranch.
