Back Blipped

Day 3

Had intended another early rise, but it was still raining so we just pootled about and took some silvery water images before breakfast just from our accommodation which is next to the water.  Then off we went to walk Surat Beach.  Well what a ball we had there, many many sealion, most just blobs in the sand, but being a "tail end Charlie" has some advantages.  Three of us came across a white female having "some fun" with a male.  I snapped off something like 300 frames, I haven't really looked at them yet.  Further along the beach there were another pair - the male had some ideas but the female wasn't having a bar of it......No 3 in my blipfolio!!

Back to camp, lovely lunch, then off to these falls, the water colour is a little brown from the rain yesterday and overnight.....they made a magnificent sight.  Being a Sunday, there were many tourists, Dups & I had to wait an age for them to leave the area so that we could have a good go with our tripods and cameras.  We stayed far to long and the others had moved on to another spot further south (another smack on the hand)...oops!!!  The five us, we had picked up Katey doodling along, had some more fun taking team pictures.....lots of laughter!  We headed back to camp after this, first in the showers..........pure bliss.
