WE DID NOT DISTURB THE SEAL

seeing her at the same spot as yesterday, on a little hill of sand, close to the water. We thought she looked with curious eyes at us, not at all anxious, but we kept our distance, of course. Mischa's picture of the seal.
We started in rather thick mist and found at the beach two huge trucks sieving the sand and they made the beach flat as ever again. Their big head-lights shining monster-like. I loved to see the gulls coming in groups, suddenly appearing through the mist, heading north or inland.
It was not so cold in the beginning of our walk but gradually that changed and making photos a lot.

My haiku:

The morning mist wet
Shadows appear around me
The waves keep their silence

And the proverb from Sophocles:

All we that live are but vain shadows, unsubstantial dreams.
