Braunston Bottom Lock.

This is the bottom lock at Braunston on the Grand Union Canal.

There are six locks here and they all leak as bad is this one.

There must be many thousands of gallons of water wasted every day here.

It must be cheaper to pump the water back up to the top lock than repair the lock gates.

The weather here has taken a turn, its very cold today.
