How sad.

This seat on High Pike commemorates a lad who died age 16 in 1944. It seems so sad that he died at that age when so many young men were being killed in the war. There is no explanation as tohow he died, just that he loved the fells.

Also rather sad is that my camera has developed a black patch. It wasn't there yesterday (Thanks for all yesterday's comments) but today I could see it on the screen and here it is in the picture too. Has anyone any ideas?
