yacht corpse

This boat has been slowly dying on the rocks in Schull this week, each day looking more stricken and desperate. It was finally floated off in a high tide, with severe south westerly gales and lots of tractor inner tubes.
I'm glad that it appears 'dead' now and not still clinging on to the rocks. It was a sad sight and now the salvaged parts will be used on a new boat, so it's spirit will to go to sea again. She really was a beautiful yacht.

The weather remains defiantly gray and miserable, making it hard to get better pictures....all part of the challange I guess.
