Running Free

We have some new arrivals in the field behind our house.

The 'regular' cows have been moved on, just as we had established a working dialogue and had got on a first name basis.

These feisty beasts have been maturing in safer pastures than this one, but have now been deemed to be strong enough and large enough to wander unfettered....at least for a while.

The farmer keeps popping into the field to check on them, little does she know they are at risk from the two apex predators which make up 'murder incorporated'.

Oh yes, the cats have their eyes on them, buoyed by David Attenborough's new documentary, they are stalking them, ready to strike.....

Although i think i'ill need a bigger cat flap and a bigger frying pan if they are successful.....
