On Display

Something that would never have happened, if it hadn't been for BLIPFOTO.

L-1452 is Sandra's company, which specialise in trends & innovations in marketing, advertising, product development, lifestyle, etc. for the the Mexican market.

They were one of the sponsors of a TEDx Conference being held in Mexico.

All the photos on the wall are mine, which is the very 1st time I've had any of my work publicly displayed. To see them all up in a public space was far more gratifying than I could have possibly expected.

In a nutshell, my photos were the before in a before and after re-imagining life in Mexcio City. The after images being downloaded to your mobile phone via a barcode beside the picture. This image you then overlaid over the main image to see the change.

A long day spent getting the area set up from 9am in the morning until the conference itself finished at 10pm. Everyone was exhausted by it's end, but a hard day's graft paid off massively.

Lot's of interest and positive feedback from the conference attendees, more importantly a big bump in the number of followers to the the L-1452 website, which, of course, was the main aim.
