Chain Reaction

Can you guess what's missing from this photo? Yes, my chain! And of course I was not prepared - typical of me. and yes, I have a new chain and spare links and a chain splitter but of course they were all safely locked away at home! So, I had a rather nice jog through ankle deep mud for about a mile and a half to get back to our starting point in Aberfoyle.

I had taken Ron out for his first mountain biking experience. I think I put him off for life as not only did the chain snap but we punctured before we even started. Still, it was good fun, especially the section through all the gloopy mud.
