A 'smashing' day.

The building project has come on leaps and bounds in the last few days. Friday afternoon the 'Stable door was fitted.
Saturday the roof on the conservatory was removed, rafters for the new roof were fitted, 2 velux windows installed and it was felted and battened ready for the tiles.
Sunday the consumer unit was moved to its new position although the actual wall where it will be has yet to be constructed so it is hanging from the ceiling spars.
Today all the interior walls that needed to be demolished were demolished. I can't believe the amount of rubble that is now piled up on the drive. I think i upset the neighbours tho' by working until 9pm, swinging a bloody big sledge hammer. I received a text saying "Don't you think it's time to have a break" A polite telling off me thinks! I'll be round tomorrow with a jar of chutney and an apology. Mind you we've listened enough times to their dog barking non stop for hours on end.
