Singer

while looking for the hot water heater, the huz found this, amongst other things in the basement. a super old Singer Sewing machine. it needs to be re-wired and repaired, but otherwise it looks in good condition.

Today was the kids first day of their new school. i'm super impressed with it myself. The kids all seemed to have had fun too. super bonus! We also met the neighbors across the street.

I gotta say, it's nice to have our own space again. also, to not have to drive the kids to school every day ^_^ now, i just need to find out if there is a local girl scout troop.

In another way, this area reminds me of our home in NC. rural, friendly people, small town, just 1000 miles north lmao!
