A trio of moose? Mooses? Meese?

Fun fact: the plural of moose is... moose. Mooses and meese are also both considered correct, but are out-dated and rarely used.

Being a Zoologist and all, I obviously just knew that off the top of my head and totally didn't have to Google it... (Ahem. *Cough*)

Anyway, today was a pretty uneventful day (can you tell?) since I spent a large part of it writing letters and doing other dull paperwork. So this is another emergency blip, this time of the moose-shaped coaster that sits on my desk. I love it - I bought it in a Scandinavian shop in Edinburgh because it just reminded me so much of Norway when I saw it. And I love meese. (Does anybody else think that meese sounds much more fun as a plural than just moose?)
