The return of the chipstick
To say that I had a bad day today is a bit like saying that greece is short of a few quid.
I was an 8 out of 10 until about lunch time and then it all went horribly wrong.
I appreciate firstly that I have a job, a relatively secure job if there is such a thing in todays society and you wont normally hear me knocking this in the slightest as I know that it pays my bills.
However, today was challenging, full of challenging individiuals that really pushed my boundaries of what is moral and ethical. I just dont understand some of the public of Britain, most of them are genuinely nice people, perhaps fallen down on their luck or struck by the misfortune of being out of work.
But, there is a small proportion of the population that just want to take from society and this goes against my own principals of what is right and decent. Rant Over.
Finished up the day on a 3 out of 10, went to the gym but didnt improve my mood at all.
On a different note, did however experience something today called GeoCaching. Spotted it in a journal that I was reading and so invevitably googled it to see what it was, so basically its treasure hunt using your gps enabled device or Iphone. Little time capsules hidden by others.
So, having googled this, found out that there was three of these hidden capsules within about a mile of my house.
John and I had a walk around the village, went to the spots where these capsules were supposed to have been left and couldnt find plumbs. Particularly dissapointing.
So thats me tried geocaching, not to be repeated.
Today is a tribute to chipsticks, 10 pence space raiders and salt & shake.
