Nearly there! Only one week left now. I'm sure the forestry department have some logic to their numbering of the trees, but I've no idea what it is. I have seen trees #1 and #2 and then the next ones are in the 80s, then there seems to be a gap from the 90s to the 120s... and there are plenty of similar aged and species of tree unnumbered. Most puzzling.

This is a lovely place to walk at this time of year, provided you keep to the paths, as the trees give sufficient shade to make walking pleasant. Stray too far however and you mat find a snake or two enjoying the cooler air. Last night we saw a Cyprus Whip snake. It was about 1.6m (5ft) long (honestly, no exaggeration) and about as round as my wrist. Fortunately they are not dangerous unless you are a small rodent... Daizy and I are too big for it! We do have some venomous snakes here and we try to avoid meeting them!

Have a good weekend everyone.
