Skeletons having a party

Burgos this morning was a delight. Yes, it was absolutely freezing last night but today it was warm enough to wander around, and as well as seeing lots of actual pilgrims with their staffs and shells, we came across a small but very interesting book museum, where we found this image of presumably bad people dancing in hell. Looks fun.

The Bilbao we have seen so far is just hell and no fun at all - 2.5 hours driving round and round a nasty mixture of the M25 and the Brent Cross shopping centre (IKEA, Decathon etc etc etc) trying to reach our hotel that at times we could see tantalising us on the opposite side of a six-lane motorway. Anyway we are here now.

Tomorrow? We might just try to make it straight to the ferry, giving the Guggenheim a miss. A pity, but I'm sure it will be quicker and easier just to get on an easyjet flight one weekend...
