Loch Leven Nature reserve

Today me and the boy went to Loch Leven/Vane farm's RSPB Nature reserve. It was fantastic ! Thought we would only spend a couple of hours here and we were there for seven hours ! Had lunch in the cafe whilst watching Pink footed geese, Shelduck, Curlew, Whooper swans, and many others. We also watched a Kestrel hunting and found out that they're sensitive to uv light and because of this will follow urine trails of rodents to track them down. The day was finished with drinks with a great friend whilst setting the world to right and setting off some fireworks. Not always the best idea when you've had a few !
