Not my usual....

Almost everyone that knows me - knows I like my shoes and boots. They are rarely practical usually have a stilleto heel of at least three inches and nowdays a platform too.

Today we shopped in Milton Keynes. I spent a tidy sum and was very pleased with my purchases.

In NEXT I saw these boots - I don't usually go for wedges - but I thought if it snowed liked last year these would be better going up the incline from the works car park to the hangar (or, more to the point, the journey back down that incline which can treacherous).

And so I have some 'practical' footwear.

Now please. Don't think "OOO, I like those" and rush out to buy them.

I didn't buy these when I tried saw them and tried them. I thought I would think about it for a bit, cos I could always buy them online when I got home. I did think about and in the car I decided to get them

I went online when I got home - sold out in all but two sizes, and no, my size wasn't one in stock.

I rang all the local stores - and no they didn't have them in stock.

So I rang the only store that I knew had them and hoped to hell they still did.

As you can see - yes! But it was a very cold 40 mile round trip on the motorbike through rush hour traffic. Brrrrrr
