Walk in the Moorfoot Hills
I was in the Tweed Valley today with my walking group, starting from Innerleithen, going over the Moorfoot Hills to Walkerburn where tea and scones were consumed, and returning along the River Tweed. It wasn't a great day as regards the weather - it never really got properly light, and we were in cloud when we were on the hills - but it was still good to be out. It was the larches which caught my eye in this picture, looking fiery even in the poor light.
