Artichoke/Ratichoke

The wife is mad on us growing our own veg and this year tried Jerusalem artichokes. Well, they're ugly little sods! Nothing like artichoke artichokes (apparently they're really a member of the sunflower family, bizarrely).

Anyway, the tubful that we harvested at the weekend was sat on the kitchen worktop and just out of the corner of my eye I glanced something that proper freaked me out - a Jerusalem artichoke that resembled a rat. It does resemble a rat, right? It's not jut me, is it?
