A Monstah in the Woods
Out behind my fenced back yard..we have an area between the houses and the railroad tracks that is probably between 5-8 acres. Not very big, but somebody has put in 2-3 paths, and it's a great place to walk our 2 little dogs. Takes 5-10 minutes for us to walk around.
A couple different neighbors fill the area with different kinds of blooms, making the summer months full of color. Great for my bee shots. Now..flower-wise..it's pretty bare. One tree is filled with coffee cups, and one tree has tiny beaded signs. And..then there is this..I guess you could call it a statue. The neighbor 2 doors down is quite a wood-carver, using many sizes of chain saws. He has a full-size Norse-looking guy that is incredible. But..the pig he put out in our woods is kind of creepy. Even my grandson thought so.
My little guy almost made it around the circuit for the first time. He would have done it if it weren't for being distracted by a barking dog. That's a long way for tiny legs to travel.
I pester my wife to get us a golf cart. 3 houses in a row have golf carts to drive the loop. But..she keeps making us walk.
This was our last day for watching Merrick. I picked his momma up from the Detroit airport at 8:15 p.m. She had a great time visiting her friends in South Carolina, and is looking forward to seeing her baby in the morning.
I used the title to be tricky. You figure out which one is the Monster.
