Downtown

Earlier today I was browsing blipfoto and commented on someone elses' downtown photo they took. Here is our downtown. What caught my eye, as usual, was the odd cloud in the sky, one long one with blue sky all around.

This little town we live in, is beginning to grow very slowly, this shot is a small restaurant and the bait store and I took it standing at the little Ice Cream Shop . But across the street they are clearing land to put in a little shopping center and up the street, they are clearing land for the new City Hall and about three miles down the road is a new housing development going in which will add about 300 hundred homes to the area.

Somehow it's all a little sad even though I'm looking forward to having more conveniences closer.
