All fluffed up!

Ah dear sweet Robin you cheer me up every time I see you!

As soon as I go outside now the Starlings come and watch me from the roof, the TV aerial, the washing line, the apple trees etc there's just no getting rid of them! This morning I put our rabbit, Muszi, in her run, went into the garage to get the cover to put over the top and when I came out, Starlings everywhere! It was like Hitchcocks film The Birds! I filled up the water bath as it was near empty, filled up the seed feeder too and took down the half coconut shell which I'd put on the apple tree and it was clean as could be! The Starlings had scoffed the absolute lot! I noticed Robin watching me from his favourite shrub near our table and chairs and thought I have to give him some worms as I didn't give him any yesterday. Filled the bowl and put it out and I have to chuck some on the ground just underneath so that way he has more of a chance of getting something than if I were to put them all in the bowl. He did get some and the Starlings got far more! He allowed me to get really close to him today but just for a little while and then he went and hid in the berberis.
