Oblong video editing course underway

One of the volunteers at Oblong Leeds would like to go into teaching part time. As part of her own teacher training course she has put together an excellent set of tutorials in Final Cut Pro video editing. Here are some of her students on day one.

Oblong Leeds is growing a team of volunteers to make short films about community organisations. The films will help give a voice for under represented groups, encourage participation on local democracy and help develop the skills of the volunteers.

We are looking for groups who would like to support the project either by commissioning films or by providing a platform for the work. Already we have the prospect of a city TV station for Leeds which will share some of our vision. What a great platform that would be.
