prolonging mystery
It wasn't quite dark when we arrived at our home for the next four nights so I won't get that usual arrive-somewhere-in-darkness perception-mismatch thing I sometimes get when arriving at a holiday destination in darkness. By the time I'd hoicked everything inside it was properly dark and getting properly misty too, though this turned out to be quite localised and reasonably non-standard, making it fortunate that I'd spent half an hour letting cold air in the window trying and failing to simultaneously photograph a tree beneath the window and a moon above it before popping out to the shop for some vital forgotten things and to discover that the Tesco car park is quite a popular place for the local bored youth to lurk.
