Prince
It had been too long since I had last made contact with the shire horses in Wadworthshire - at the Wadworth brewery in Devizes, to be specific - but I made up for that this afternoon. There are three there at present - Prince, Monty and Max - all back from their morning delivery rounds when we dropped in.
The day was dull and bleak and the light levels were atrocious, especially inside the stables. I was hesitant to use flash but they seemed totally unbothered, and were very sociable and forthcoming, as always. Max particularly liked having his chin tickled. I got fewer shots of Monty as a keeper was in his stable putting in a fresh supply of soil, and he was busy having his lunch anyway. The shots didn't turn out especially well, mainly due to the lighting, but I think this one of Prince came out best.
