Bodhran and tipper

Just a quick shot of my Bodhran and tipper (the little two ended drumstick). Acquired some years ago at the Cambridge Folk Festival. Brilliant fun.

I whittled a piece of broom handle to make the tipper. To avoid driving everyone mad it's best to practise on a book. I just kept practising until I could do a roll, then it's straightforward. It's actually easier with a Bodhran beacuse the skin has bounce whilst a book hasn't.
