I went to skansen today with my friend Monica.

Skansen is apparently the the oldest open-air museum in the world but it is also a zoological park which is the real reason why we went there.

We say typical scandinavian animals such as brown bears, moose, foxes, otters, seals, wolves and wolverines.

But my absolute favorite was the great grey owls. It's the second largest owl we got in sweden, and they can have a wingspan of up to 1.6 m..

You're allowed to go into their encloser and a keeper came and feed them while we were there so thats why they are close in the picture
