Today is never an easy day for me, as thirty years ago I lost my mum in a tragic accident.

Mum absolutely loved dogs, we had started when I was about 3 years old with a Springer Spaniel, then from the age of nine until my early 20s we had owned yorkies, thanks to a good friend I became obsessed with chihuahuas, although mum never met the chihuahuas I know that she would have loved them.

I know that she would have dearly loved Roo as he is such a sweetie and I hope that when Roo and I walk out into the arena in March at crufts mums looking down on us and we make her proud.

Roo is paying our own special tribute to my mum.
