At Last

I've waited 24 years for this. Our only qualification in 1988 was so memorable. I followed the team to Macedonia in 1999 and watched as in the 92nd minute we threw away the lead and the chance of qualification for Euro 2000.

So many other hard luck stories (we'll never forget Paris) and hopes dashed on the cold hard terraces of Lansdowne Road. And now at last we make it to Poland/Ukraine and seal qualification at home in the new Lansdowne Road (oh sorry the Aviva).
