In the morning when the school bell rings...
It's started.
The beginning of the end.
This was our last Parents' Night ever.
A couple of years ago we attended without Tooli and one of her friends advised us delightedly that she wasn't coming because we skipped queues, and waved to teachers, or worse 'had the discussion at the door'.
As a mark of respect we promised Toolibelle that we would respect the appointments she had made and not queue jump, or wave to teachers and say 'we don't really need to talk to you do we?'.
Tooli is an educational achiever; parents nights easy. 'Tooli is doing great'. 'Tooli is lovely'; 'Tooli is no problem'. There is a limit to the conversation we can have but Tooli wants us to sit in the class room and discuss.
Then we have to regurgitate the whole
Conversation for her.
But that's it done. No more parents night; although Si is hoping they have them at University - so much more scope for being embarrassing parents!
:-)
