Hedgerow

Late autumn. The ivy seems like a reminder that it is not decay, that the cycle continues. Being Scottish I seem to prefer the leaf in its slow disintegration.

Later I found this in a, short, burst of reading.


The wind has brought
enough fallen leaves
To make a fire.
