First Ever Blipmeet!!
Well today was my first ever Blipmeet and it has been a very good day. I even left on time for once (but still managed to be late thanks to a VERY slow coach driver on the A4something, followed by a SatNav which seemed to lose the ability to say anything other than 'turn right'.......round and round Gloucester City Centre)!
The 'honour' of being my first Blip meetee goes to Roy who foolishly bravely surprisingly has asked me to help him write a novel! I also persuaded him to kindly show me how to use my camera properly (I am far too reliant on 'auto' setting for everything)!
We had a great day looking round museums, nattering about the book, taking photos and enjoying the lovely weather in Gloucester. We had a cuppa in the Folk Museum and lunch at Gloucester Docks and both times we were able to sit outside!
By the end of the day I had learnt a lot more about my camera and taking photographs in general and we had discussed quite a few ideas for the story, so it was a very productive day. What I didn't expect was for Roy to then ask ME to write the whole of the next chapter! Yikes! I suppose that is what jointly writing something means! ;-)
I have got some nice sunny scenes from today but as I can't compete with Roy's blip for today, instead I thought I would do something completely different. And this certainly is......'different'!! :)
Many thanks to Roy for letting me loose on his book, for so patiently explaining my own camera to me(!) and for being such good company :)
Have a good Friday all!
