Crowverhead (unprocessed)
Three ravens flew one after another rather close overhead as I was leaving today. I managed to nab this one in flight. Great effort of will to hold the camera still rather than following the bird. I also didn't have time to bring it to my eye and actually aim, so I just had to hope that I had it in frame, and that camera focused ok. It turned out alright.
For the final version I cropped to 3:2, raised the luminance curve in a new layer masked to just the raven using Filterstorm Pro's colour match tool, then pulled down the RGB curve in the background layer slightly, to enhance the blue of the sky a touch.
Final version here.
