River rescue

The Tay seems to be taking over my journal at present. When I went into town this morning, Tayside Fire and Rescue were practising their water rescue skills.

It looks like fun today, but every year or so we hear the sound of the helicopter at night and know that someone has jumped in - either deliberately or drunk. Not many survive.
