Hope.

I know that many of us have flowers still flowering, fooled by the weather etc, but I couldn't resist taking a blip of this beauty. We have had at least one night of frost recently and yet this rose has held on, hope for the future and encouragement for what we can go through when everything seems to be against us.

Today I pushed mum in her wheelchair up to the top shops to buy an onion. We came back with three bags full of shopping hanging off the handles and another bag on her knee.

I made sure she was well wrapped up and I'd had to un-knot a fringed blanket that I'd left over her knee before going out as she had tied all the fringes together.

Oh and when I got back and opened the bag of vegetables I'd got off the pop man who comes to the door every other Thursday..... I found an onion !
